Lucy Negrn Blessington ,73, of Gainesville, FL , passed away on January 14, 2024. Lucy was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on December 29, 1950 to Jos Negrn and Luz Negrn Soto. Lucy was married to Charles "Chuck" Blessington. Lucy worked as a psychologist for the State of Florida. She enjoyed singing, playing guitar and piano, the beach, and spending time with her family. Lucy was very energetic and outgoing, always the life of any party.She is survived by her children: Kristian J Blessington, Kari J Teelahti, and Johanna M Aponte and grandchild Leandro M Aponte. She is survived by her brother Jos Manuel Negrn Soto. Lucy is preceded in death by her mother Luz, father Jos, brother Miguel Negrn Soto, and sister Lizzie Negrn Soto. She died the same time as her husband, Charles Blessington.The funeral/memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Monday January 29th at Forest MeadowsMemorial Park 4100 NW 39th Ave, Gainesville, FL 32606.
