Mrs. Lucy L. Wright age 93 of Starke passed away at her home Thursday, December 29, 2022. She was born March 24, 1929, in Colquitt, GA to John and Bertha (Askew) Miller. She was employed for 30 years with Anchor Glass as a Ware Gauger and several years at the Starke Dollar General Store. Mrs. Wright was raised Baptist and attended C.H.C. in Jacksonville; she enjoyed fishing, riding horses, road trips and especially being with her grandchildren and family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings Donald Wright, Jr., Flossie Steele, and Andrew L. Wright. Her survivors her children Rhonda Sikes (Joseph) and Donna King all of Starke, William Wright (Peggy) of Callahan, Sandra Daniels (Paul) of Ohio and Ernest Padgett (Jill) of Virginia. She was also lovingly called "Granny" or "G.G." by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. There are no scheduled services at this time.
