Mr. Lukas Karl CliftonMr. Lukas Karl Clifton age 21, of Lawtey passed away suddenly Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at his residence. Lukas was a Construction Maintenance worker and attended Smyrna Baptist Church. He played Football for Bradford High School; he lettered in Wrestling, and was an avid reader of Classical Literature. Lukas also loved surfing and weight lifting. He was preceded in death by his father Carl Luke Eugene Clifton and Grandfathers Bobby L. Papa Taylor & Tracy Edward Pops Griffis. Survivors are: his mother Kathleen Griffis Clifton of Lawtey; brother: Lance Edward Leukel of Lawtey; half brother, Allen Luther and half sister, Sarah Clifton; maternal grandmother: Freda Taylor of Lawtey; maternal great grandmother: Ona Hardee Thomas of Highland; Paternal grandparents: Betty & Wilbur Godwin of Lake Butler and James & Faye Luther of North Carolina, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services for Mr. Clifton will be on Monday May 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL, 620 E. Nona St. in Starke with Reverend Charles Starling, Reverend E.C.
