Mrs. Mabel Lucille Williams age 73 of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday October 18, 2012 at the Shands @ Starke Hospital. Mrs. Williams was born on February 15, 1939 in Morgantown, West Virginia to the late Pete and Harriett (Hammonds) Roberts. Prior to retirement Mrs. Williams was a CNA. In 1983 Mrs. Williams moved to Keystone Heights from Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Abundant Life Church and loved playing BINGO at the local Am Vets Post. Her son Charles Davis had preceded her in death. Survivors are her sons; David Williams, Johnnie Gates and his wife Marie, Carl Gates, Ernie Williams, Eric Williams, Mark Williams, and Brian Williams all of Keystone Heights. Mrs. Williams also leaves behind her siblings; Gloria Jean Slaughter, Carina Rose, Don Roberts, Donna Akins all of Pennsylvania and Georgia Lyonias of Washington State, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her father of her sons; Ernest E. Williams, Sr. of Tennessee. There will be a memorial service held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family has requested contributions to please be made to Haven Hospice of the Lakes, 6400 St. Johns Ave., Palatka, FL 32177.
