Mrs. Mable Lugene (Bennett) Magyari age 92 of Starke, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at E. T. York Care Center in Gainesville. She was born March 1, 1921 in Manatee to the late Hiram and Jennie (Lang) Bennett. Prior to her retirement Mrs. Magyari was a Seamstress for Big Dads in Starke and also helped her husband in the farm growing strawberries. Before becoming a resident at Bradford Terrace Nursing Home, Mrs. Magyari had attended the Grace Baptist Church, and loved working in the yard with her flowers and making handmade quilts and blankets. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John Magyari, Jr.; her son, Donald Magyari and her grandson Dennis Magyari siblings: Margaret Thornton, Jewell Crawford and Ovid Bennett. Survivors are: daughter: Shelia Evans , sons: Jack Magyari and Ronald Magyari all of Starke, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL in Starke on Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 5-7 PM. Funeral services will be on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL with Pastor Dick Dixon officiating.
