Mrs. Mamie Ruth Hopkins age 84, of Keystone Heights passed away at her home Wednesday, August 20, 2014. She was born October 4, 1929 in Augusta, Georgia to the late Wallace T. and Lillie Mae (Cushman) Knox. Mrs. Hopkins was a retired seamstress and a member of Centennial Hill Baptist Church in Madison, Georgia. Survivors for Mrs. Hopkins are her four children, Brenda Beach of Keystone Heights, Jerry Hopkins (Tomi) of Melbourne, Wayne Hopkins (Sharron) of Columbus, GA and Ray Hopkins of Madison, GA. Also left behind are two sisters, Catherine Maddox of Augusta, GA and Rose Jones (Bill) of Anniston, Alabama along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
