Marba Cowart Whittle

Marba Cowart Whittle age 90 of Starke died Friday, October 28, 2016 at Parkside Assisted Living Facility. Marba was a sixth generation Floridian born in Desoto County Florida on November 2 1925 to the late Ernest Leslie and Marcia (Whaley) Cowart. She was a Methodist by faith and was a homemaker. Marba was known for her homemade dill pickles which she made from cucumbers she planted and cultivated herself. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and watching birds and butterflies. Preceding her in death was her daughter Marcia Whittle Dowdy and her sister Wanda Ebersole.
