Margaret Eloise Cox

Mrs. Margaret Eloise Cox, age 98, of Keystone Heights, passed away Friday, November 29, 2019, at Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Starke following a long illness. She was born June 9, 1921, in Hawthorne to parents Charlie and Georgia Louise (Hudgins) Price. Mrs. Cox was a longtime resident of the Keystone Heights and Melrose area and was the bookkeeper for her and her husbands business W.W. Cox Building Contractor for many years until retirement. Mrs. Cox was raised in the Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, staying busy around the house and an avid NASCAR fan. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Woodrow W. Cox and their son John E. Cox along with her sister Marie Virginia McKenney, as well as two grandsons. Mrs. Cox leaves behind two daughters Ann Raines and Patricia Hague both of Keystone Heights; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
