Margaret G. Smith

Maggie was born to Kevin and Mary Mc Keever in Dundalk Co. Louth Ireland. She was the eldest of seven children Lena, Thomas, Rosemary, Ursula, Barry and Sinead. She is survived by loving husband Doug Smith and her two sons Seamus and Craig and her treasured granddaughter (baby girl) Shealyn. Maggie is lovingly remembered by her brothers, sisters, brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, her nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews and her extended family in Ireland, England, Norway and America, all of whom wish they could be here to join us in celebrating her life. Maggie spent 55 years of her life in America but she still loved to visit her home in Dundalk, Greenore, Carlingford and the mourne mountains. Maggie was first educated in the Friary School in Dundalk. She got her first certificate in friendship which she passed with honours. She achieved her diploma in empathy and compassion. Her degree was in laughter, smiles and hugs. Her master's was in love. Maggie took a few years out to go dancing and have the craic. She was educated in the school of life and she taught us all she knew.
