Margaret "Liz" Elizabeth Gilbert

Margaret Elizabeth "Liz" Gilbert age 71 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, formerly of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Creekside at Three Rivers in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She was born February 23, 1947, in Barrow-in-Furness, England and later moved to Rugby and then on to Coventry to finish her education. At age eighteen she moved with her family to the United States. She worked as a short hand typist for engineers in downtown Chicago and met her husband James Edward "Jim" Gilbert who had also immigrated to America, and they were married in June of 1973. After Jims retirement, they moved to Keystone Heights to serve the elderly at the Park of the Palms Retirement Center. Following her husbands passing, Liz moved to Tennessee in 2012. Liz was preceded in death by her parents, James Boyers and Elizabeth Florence "Flo" (Gillespie) Murray and her husband James "Jim" Edward Gilbert. She is survived by a daughter Margaret Gilbert Clark and husband Herman Talmage Clark; grandsons Jude Gilbert Clark and Talmage James Clark; sisters Francis Mary Rosario and husband Peter, Maureen Jane Gora and husband Robert, Patricia Ann Murray, and a brother, David James Boyers Murray and wife Pamela, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family.
