Margaret E. Greene, 87, passed away on March 2, 2015 in Jacksonville. She was born in Texarkana, Texas on December 23, 1927 to Otto & Olga Regen. A longtime Jacksonville resident, Mrs. Greene was a member of Ft. Caroline Methodist Church and the Garden Club of Jacksonville as well as many other organizations close to her heart. She is survived by her daughter Margaret Ann Bennett; her son, William C. Greene, II; her grandchildren, William Bennett, Susan Boone, Lisa Greene, William C. Greene III & Todd McCray (Susan) all of Jacksonville; 1 niece, Kay Whitley of Waco, TX; 3 nephews James Regen (Susie) of Waco, TX, Ronald A. Regen (Cindy) of Gainesville, FL & Robert "Buddy" Whitley (Karen) of Waco, TX and many extended family members & friends. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd. S., with Reverend Ken Barney of Oceanway Assembly of God officiating.
