Margaret Grissett Jones

Mrs. Margaret Grissett Jones, age 94, of Keystone Heights, Florida passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the McGraw Center in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born December 17, 1923 in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Wallace Edward and Grace Clark Grissett. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a member of Fresh Start Fellowship Church. She enjoyed reading and cooking. Her devoted husband of 74 years, Robert E. L. Jones and son, David Lindley Jones, sister, Carolyn G. May, and brother, Wallace Edward Grissett, Jr. preceded her in death. Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Mimi Jones, of Jacksonville, and sister, Nancy G. Douglas, of Gainesville. She was "Nonnie" to three grandchildren, Katie Mihalik (Robert Duane) and Adam Kapps all of Jacksonville and Pamela Jones of California. A memorial service will be held at Fresh Start Fellowship Church 11:00 a.m., Saturday March 17, 2018 with Pastor Steve Conner officiating. Interment will be private at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
