Margaret H.
Lindsey
Jun 1, 1946 — May 30, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret H. Lindsey, who left this world peacefully on May 30, 2026, just two days shy of her 80th birthday. Born on June 1, 1946, in Fort White, Florida, Margaret was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of many through her warmth and kindness.
Margaret's journey through life, marked by her enduring spirit and dedication to her family, touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. Though her formal education concluded in the 8th grade, her wisdom and life experiences were vast. For many years, Margaret worked as a waitress, where she shared her sunny disposition and strong work ethic, building lasting friendships with coworkers and patrons alike.
A devoted mother, she is survived by her loving son, Anthony Lindsey, and her cherished spouse, James Lindsey. Margaret's family was her pride and joy, and she leaves behind her mother, Mary Withey; her sister, Nora Bundy; and her adoring grandchildren: Stephanie Lindsey, Ethan Crosby, and Barbara Jean Lindsey. She also cherished her role as a great-grandmother to Landry Rentfrow, who brought her immense joy.
To honor Margaret's extraordinary life and the love she shared so generously, a graveside funeral service will be held on June 5, 2026, at Tustenuggee Methodist Church Cemetery at 10:30 AM. This is where we will lay her to rest and bring her back to the earth that she so loved.
Family and friends are invited to come together in remembrance and celebration of Margaret's life.
In this time of mourning, we encourage those who knew Margaret to keep her spirit alive by sharing stories and memories that reflect the warmth she brought into all our lives. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for the joy she spread to those around her.
Margaret was preceded in death by: Charles Withey Sr, Thomas Withey, Charles Withey Jr, Barbara Turnbough, Diane Withey.
