Margaret Louise Nygren

Margaret Louise Nygren, 98, died Friday, November 27, 2015 at her home in Oak Hammock at the University of Florida.Louise was born to the late Paul Benbow and Margaret McCreery Benbow on October 17, 1917, near Gaston, Indiana. She grew up near Gaston, attended Ball State University, and then transferred to Indiana University. After graduation from Indiana, she worked at NBC and then became a homemaker. Later, she returned to Ball State and worked in the admissions office from which she retired. She had lived in Florida for the last 25 years.She is survived by her son, Stephen Nygren, her daughters-in-law Alma Nygren and Maureen Turim, her grandchildren Gordon Nygren and Mika Turim-Nygren, her great-grandchildren Donald Nygren and Jessica Parent, and her great-great-grandson Jax Parent.She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Nygren and her former husband, Fred Nygren.Graveside services will be held at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central, 4100 NW 39th Ave. at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 All are welcome.
