Margaret Dale
Pennington
Jun 11, 1988 — Jan 11, 2026
Margaret Dale Pennington, age 37, of Azle, Texas, passed away on January 11, 2026. She was born on June 11, 1988, in Gainesville, Florida, and was deeply loved by her family and friends.
Margaret had a creative and sentimental spirit. She found comfort in baking, crocheting, enjoyed music, had a keen interest in genealogy, and loved collecting vintage treasures that carried history and meaning. She valued time spent with friends and family and was known for her spunky personality, quick wit, and unmistakable sense of humor. Though small in stature, she had a strong presence and a way of leaving an impression on those who knew her.
Margaret was previously married to Andrew Krynik, who was the great love of her life. She held a special place in her heart for his children; Hailey, Hank, and Kylin, and cherished her role in helping raise them. Loving and caring for those children was one of the most meaningful parts of her life.
She is survived by her mother, Margaret Celeste Segrest; her father, Roger Pennington, and his wife, Kim; her former husband, Andrew Krynik, and his children, Hailey, Hank, and Kylin; her sister, Shelby Whiteside, and husband, John; her brother, Wesley Pennington, and wife, Terri; her step-grandmother, Carol Rieken; her nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles Segrest and Margaret Segrest, and her paternal grandparents, Vernon Pennington and Betty Summerall (Jimmie Lee Summerall), and her uncle, Randy Pennington.
Margaret's life was a tapestry of complexity, yet she embodied the essence of humanity and the profound love she shared. She will be remembered for her creativity, humor, and the unwavering love that radiated from within her.
As a testament to her love, we quote from 1 Corinthians 13:4, 7:
"Love is patient, love is kind. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests memorial donations in Margaret's name to GRACE MARKETPLACE in Gainesville, Florida or a charity of your choosing for mental health or recovery.
