Margaret J. Strahan Reid, 89, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on April 24, 2015 at the Terrace of Jacksonville. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 28, 2015 at 11am in Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207 with Rev. Billy W. Jones officiating. Margaret was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on July 17, 1925 to William Hinton James & Hallie Griffin James. Mrs. Reid was a longtime Jacksonville resident and retired from Bell South Telephone. She was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church and formerly of Southside United Methodist Church. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Billy C. Reid in 2009.
