Maria Mccallister

Maria McCallister age 90 of Gainesville passed away July 27, 2016 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. She was born in Wolfersdorf Germany but lived her adult life in Gainesville, Florida surrounded by her loving family. She was married to the late Alvin McCallister of St Albans, WV. She loved flowers, gardening and her church music. She was a Food Manager at Woolworths for 35 years.She is survived by one daughter; Anna Marie (Donny) Yates, two grandchildren; Allen (Lisa) McCallister and Debbie (John) Kimlinger, three great grandchildren; Cameron and Candice Kimlinger and Canden Ford and three great great grandchildren; Marya and Donate Mitchell and Aziel Strong. Graveside Services will be held 11:30 am on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Forest Meadows Memorial Park East with Rev. Jim Dubois officiating. A visitation will take place from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to services at Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Ave., Gainesville, FL.
