Maria Carmen Thibault, age 79, passed away on Friday January 14, 2022 at her home in Jacksonville, surrounded by her loving family.Maria was born December 26, 1942 in Valencia Spain to Sebastian and Encarnacion Bratos. A resident of Jacksonville, she was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling and history. She also loved to tell people stories about her life as well as being host to dinner parties and BBQ. But her greatest joy above all else was spending time with her family.Maria was survived by her loving husband, Joseph Arthur Thibault; her daughter, Tiffany Thibault(Leopoldo); grandchildren, Andrea Barrett(Josh), Stoney Barrett(Courtney) and Sebastian Barrett; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Woodle, Amelia Williams, Juliette Williams and Scarlett Rose Nemecek; her sister by choice, Adela Isabel Santamarta; daughters by love, Isabel and Carolina Santamarta; many other extended family and friends.A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10 am Monday, January 24, 2022 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 742 Arlington Rd.
