Mrs. Marie L. Glenn, 83 of Keystone Heights passed away at Community hospice in Jacksonville on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Mrs. Glenn was born in Miami, Fl on March 3, 1927 to the late Samuel A. and Dora Johnson. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Glenn had worked at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami in the data Processing Center and was a member of the Central Church of Nazarene. In 1987 she had moved to the Keystone Heights area from Hialeah, FL and began attending the lake Hill Baptist Church and did volunteering at the Keystone Heights Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Glenn in 1998. Her survivors are her sons: Sam Glenn of Jacksonville, Jerry Glenn of Homestead, and Clay of Costa Mesa, CA, Sisters; Ruth Farmer of Goodlettsville, TN and Myrtis Johnson of Bradenton. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will held on Sat. Oct. 30, 2010 in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Snell officiating. Burial will follow at the Keystone Heights Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for contributions to be made to Food Give Away Fund at Lake Hill Baptist Church.
