Mrs. Marie B. Kuhbach, 94, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 following a brief illness. Mrs. Kuhbach was born in Bronx, NY, but had lived in the Gainesville area since 1977 after moving here from Long Island, NY. Mrs. Kuhbach enjoyed crocheting and donated several blankets to St. Francis House and assisted living facilities. Mrs. Kuhbach was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Herbert Kuhbach.Mrs. Kuhbach is survived by her nieces Dyana Faust of Texas, Constance Humphries of New York, and Linda Alvarez of Florida and her nephews Keith Blohm of Peru and Daryl Blohm of Kentucky.Funeral services for Mrs. Kuhbach will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central Chapel in the Meadows located at 4100 NW 39th Ave, Gainesville, FL 32606. Interment will follow in the cemetery. Flowers will be accepted but memorial donations may be made to St. Francis House, P.O. Box 12491, Gainesville, FL 32604.
