Marie Ruby Rund

Mrs. Marie Ruby Rund age 94, of Keystone Heights passed away at her home Monday, June 5, 2017. She was born in Duluth, Minnesota on October 5, 1922 to the late Axel and Caroline (Clauson) Youngstrand, and was a longtime resident of Keystone Heights. Mrs. Rund worked several years in business administration, and loved being involved with and a member of Park of the Palms for over 30 years. Mrs. Rund enjoyed traveling and swimming but most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband of 53 years Elmer and her two granddaughters, Emily and Alison had preceded her in death. Mrs. Rund is survived by seven children and their spouses; Elizabeth Stringer (John) of WA, Daniel Rund (Jeanne) of CO, Jonathan Rund (Barbara) of IL, Sharon Steigner (John) of FL, Timothy Rund (Mary) of VA, Nathan Rund (Lisa) of FL and Rebecca Leavitt (Dan) of WA. Also left behind are twenty-five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way. Funeral services for Mrs. Rund will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Park of the Palms Chapel with family receiving friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Keystone Heights Cemetery.
