Mrs. Marie Agnes Scheer age 99, of Keystone Heights passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the Windsor Manor Nursing Home in Starke. She was born on September 1, 1914 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late George and Catherine (Hack) Kelly. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Scheer was Laborer in a Calendar Warehouse in Missouri before moving to Keystone Heights in 1993. She was a member of the St. William Catholic Church, Melrose Womans Club, and was an avid Bowler and Bingo Player. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Scheer in 1983. Mrs. Scheer is survived by her son Richard Scheer and his wife Evelyn of Keystone Heights; two grandchildren, George Tony Scheer his wife Karen of Keystone Heights, Donna Smith, her husband Jay of Merritt Island; two great grandchildren, Courtney Sheridan her husband Bo of Merritt Island, and A.J. Scheer of Keystone Heights. Also surviving are two step great granddaughters, Heather Brown and Stephanie Brown, in addition to several great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Father Mike Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the services. The burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis at a later date.
