Obituary

Marilyn Evans Morrow age 76, of Keystone Heights passed away at her home, Saturday, June 8, 2013 from an extended illness. Mrs. Morrow was born August 22, 1936 in Lowville, New York to the late Charles and Frances (Schwenck) Evans. She was of the Protestant Faith and has been a resident of Keystone Heights since 1992 moving from Jacksonville where she retired after 36 years of serving as Principal for Stonewall Jackson and Gregory Drive Elementary Schools. Mrs. Morrow was a former President of the Melrose Womans Club, secretary for the American Legion Post 202 in Keystone where she enjoyed playing BINGO every Wednesday night, and Alpha Delta Kappa which she was State President during 1982- 1984 and then Gulf Regional Grand Vice President during 1985 1987. Preceding her in death are her brothers; Charles Henry Evans, Charles Milton Evans, and Stanley Evans. Survivors are daughters, Tonya Geus and Susan Russell both of Jacksonville; sisters, Beverly Myers (Raymond) of PA and Alethea Cook (Howard) of MO; grandchildren, Angel Parker (Richard), Angel Rodriguez; great grandson, Dylan Parker; Sister in law, Nancy Evans of NY, and special friends, W.O. and Theresa McNair of Keystone Heights. Viewing for Mrs. Morrow will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in the JONES-GALLAGHER Funeral Home Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2013 in the Keystone Heights Cemetery with Pastor Steve Conner officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to any scholarship fund for ADK, Educational funds, or Haven Hospice. Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E. WALKER DR.
