Jones Marinell Richey Jones, age 63, of Palatka, a longtime resident of Windsor Manor passed away peacefully Friday, August 5, 2011. Marinell was born in Acadia, La., on September 13, 1947 to the late Benjamin Richey Sr. and Lorita Olivier Richey. Prior to retirement she worked as a hairdresser and was a Catholic. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Michael R. Jones; daughter, Lorita Glica (John) of Palm Coast; step-son, Michael L. Jones of Alabama; brother, Cosma Richey (Laurie) of Alexandria, La.; three sisters, Diana Bowser of Salem, Or., Meloney Thomas (Sam) of Interlachen, Fl., Joyce McGinty of Alexandria, La., two step-brothers and step-sister, Ted Fisher, Jimmy Don Fisher, and Jackie Smith, all of Alexandria, La. and her three grandchildren, Brandon Reid, Ashley Reid and Michaela Jones. The family will receive friends in the St. Monica Catholic Church, 114 S. 4th Street, Palatka, FL. on August 10, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 oclock with Father Ignatius Plathanam CMI officiating. A procession to Palatka Memorial Gardens will ensue.
