Mrs. Marion Florence "Florrie" Davis age 88, of Hampton Lake passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Haven Hospice E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville. She was born on May 26, 1934 in Starke to the late James and Marion (Jones) Gnann and was a lifelong area resident. Prior to retirement she worked as a secretary in the family trucking business. Florrie was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church. For many years her mission was to coordinate and work with children in after school Bible clubs. She enjoyed growing and working with her flowers, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Gnann. Survivors are, her husband of 67 years, James A. Davis, children, Jimmy (Dorene) Davis, Beth (Len) Moore, siblings, Mary (Norman) Redding, Plen (Cherrie) Gnann, grandchildren, Casey (Denise) Moore, Joshua (Samantha) Davis, Kayla (Daniel) Sistrunk, Drew (Kristyn) Moore, Joel (Lauren) Davis, and Ethan (Brandi) Moore. Also left are her great grandchildren, Wyatt Thomas, Tyler Thomas, Lane Sistrunk, Jesse Davis, Caleb Davis, Brantley Moore, Weston Moore, Blakeley Moore, Arie Kate Moore, Dalton Moore, and Olivia Moore. The family will receive friends at Madison Street Baptist Church on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a funeral service beginning at 11 oclock.
