Marjorie Dern passed away peacefully on January 19, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 38 years William C. Dern. She is survived by her two children Ken (Linda) Dern Sr. and Christine (Robert) Ward; a brother, L.D. Haefer; three grandchildren, Ken, Tammy and Ken Jr.; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held at George H. Hewell and Son, 4140 University Blvd., S. on Monday January 26, 2015 at 3:00pm with Rev. Kenneth Olsen officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
