Mark Edward Glisson

Mr. Mark Edward Glisson age 63, of Keystone Heights passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the V.A. Hospital in Gainesville. He was born in Starke March 9, 1955, to Leslie and Nancy Elizabeth (Owen) Glisson and had served in the United States Army. Mark retired after many years as a surveyor working with Patrick B. Welch & Associates Inc. Mark enjoyed being outdoors camping and hunting; he also took pride in taking care of his health by lifting weights and running in which led to him completing fourteen marathons. In addition to his parents, Mark was also preceded in death by his son Kenneth Glisson, nephew Charles Glisson and sister-in-law Betty Glisson. He is survived by his brother Larry Glisson; a granddaughter Ashlie Glisson along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends that will miss him dearly. The family will have a gathering at the Sportsman Club Rifle range in Graham at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 13, 2018.
