Mr. Marshall Hugh Sullivan age 79 of Keystone Heights went to be with Jesus Thursday, May 29, 2025. He was born August 14, 1945, in Richmond, Virginia to Larkin and Lela Ruth (Nye) Sullivan. At the young age of 16 Marshall began a lifelong career with Winn Dixie. He applied as a bag boy and worked his way to district manager retiring after 38 years of dedicated service. In 1959 while in high school he met Frances Paulette Brooks, from that day forward the Lord has not only walked every step with them but has guided them and taken care of their family through their wonderful 61 years of marriage. He was her stronghold and sweetheart. Marshall was a man of high character and a Godly man that was always quick to share Jesus with others. Marshall has been a dedicated and active member of the First Baptist Church for 23 years where he served as deacon for many years, worked in the kitchen, and had a strong presence in the walk-through Bethlehem at Christmas. He enjoyed traveling with Paulette and playing golf, but God and his family came first. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister Jacqueline Garner. Marshall leaves behind his loving and much devoted wife of 61 wonderful years Frances Paulette (Brooks) Sullivan and their children Carla Mcgivney (Mike) and Matthew Sullivan (Susi), brother, Jim Sullivan (Sharol), Mike Lore (Terri) along with additional brother and sister in-laws, many nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family members and friends that will miss his loving smile and encouraging words. He was loving called Grandpa by grandchildren Justin Lore (Alexis), Jessica Gilkerson (Chris), Gabriela Sullivan, Cameron Sullivan, and Jonathan Tompkins (Sarah), and great grandchildren Griffin Gilkerson, Kaiden Edwards, and Levi Lore. A Celebration of Marshalls life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2025, in the Keystone Heights First Baptist Church with Pastor Ryan Begue and Pastor Jim Prose officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. A private interment will be held at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
