Mrs. Martha Ann Sweat Coleman age 59, of Starke passed away Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Shands UF. She was born in Starke on October 15, 1949 to Jimmie L. and Annie Mae Sweat, and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Coleman was a retired Correctional Officer from New River East. Survivors are her husband Thomas Coleman of Starke; daughters: Melanie Coleman; Cathy Burton both of Starke; Wendy Barber of Enterprise, Alabama; sisters: Kay Starling; Yvonne Rising; Carol Pickens all of Starke; brothers: Jimmie L. Sweat, Jr. of Gainesville; Willey Sweat of Starke; David Sweat of Keystone Heights; eight grandchildren. Memorial services for Mrs. Coleman will be on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 1 oclock PM in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel.
