Mr. Marvin "Bud" Milikin 87 of Melrose passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Haven Hospice in Palatka. He was born March 3, 1934, in Baxley, Georgia to Adolph and Montine (Dudley) Milikin and had served in the United States Army and National Guard. Bud was raised in Jacksonville and retired from the Jacksonville Ship Yard following 33 years of employment. Bud was dedicated member of Keystone United Methodist Church. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and Southern Gospel Music. He also enjoyed volunteering countless hours at L.A.M. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son Joseph Scott and two sisters. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Sandra (McIntosh) Milikin and their two sons Randy Milikin and Doug (Tamara) Milikin. He was lovingly called "Papa" by Hunter Milikin, Jody (B.J.) Pfeiffer and Bonny (Jesse) Ivey along with two great grandchildren. A memorial service for Bud will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2021, in the Keystone United Methodist Church with Reverend Jeff Tate officiating.
