Mary Edith Benham, at the blessed age of 94, passed peacefully on Thursday, August 12, 2010 to her heavenly home to be celebrated, by her Savior Jesus Christ and family members who preceded her. She was born on November 10, 1915 to Kathryn and Alfred Manning and was raised in Sanford, Florida. Her loving and devoted husband, Grover Lee Benham, preceded her in death on his birthday, February 15, 1995. They spent many years together in Jacksonville, Florida then moving to Keystone Heights, Florida upon his retirement. Together, they served their Lord for many years in several churches both in Jacksonville and Keystone Heights.She is survived by her loving family: her son, Rev. Dan Benham, three grandchildren: Charity Madson (Jason), Ashton Benham, and Peyton Benham (Brandi); four great-grand children: Wyatt Madson, Dalton Madson, Brayden Anderson, and Tyla Benham; brother, James Manning (Jackie); sister, Jean McClain and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. She was loved by three very special long time friends; Lucille Cook, Mary Ward and her devoted friend, caretaker and companion, Bob Bolduc who all loved her with wonderful unconditional love. Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, August 15, 2-4 pm at Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home in Keystone Heights, FL. There will be a graveside celebration service of her life, on Monday, August 16 at 10 am at the Keystone Heights cemetery. Family and friends are welcomed and invited to attend.
