Mary Elizabeth Bowers

Mary Elizabeth Bowers went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2020 at the age of 90. Her life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 - "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.She is preceded in death by her late husband Glenn Bowers, son-in-law Patrick Gory, and granddaughter Sarah Bowers.She is survived by her six children and their spouses James and Jane Shea, Mary Ann Gory, Michael and Becky Shea, Mitchell and Karen Shea, Kenny Bowers, and Evertt and Jody Bowers, plus 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. All of these were loved and touched deeply.A celebration of her life is scheduled for Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:00 pm with a viewing at 1:30 pm at Evans Carter Funeral Home.
