Mary Beryl Addison Bowmer

Mary Beryl Addison Bowmer age 75, of Jacksonville passed away at her home, Saturday, February 25, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born in Jacksonville to the late Edward Aaron and Juanita Clark Addison. Mary grew up in Starke and moved to Jacksonville after marrying her husband, Bill. She loved to dance, she loved life, and she loved her family.Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, William "Bill" Bowmer in 2007, and her sister, Sandy Mapp in 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Catrina L. Beeson of Mint Hill, North Carolina; son, Greg Edison of Jacksonville; sisters, Vel Addison of Middelburg, Suzie Cline (Steve) of Green Cove Springs, Sharon Grodski (Mike) of St. Simons, Georgia, and Tina Simpson of Sarasota; brother, Ricky Simpson of Gainesville; and six grandchildren. She also leaves behind several great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 3900 SE State Road 100, Starke, FL, 32091 with Pastor Johnny Frampton officiating.Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E.
