Mary M. Collins, died peacefully on May 9, 2015. She was born April 13, 1925 in Florence, S.C. Mary graduated from the University of Tampa as a Registered Nurse and moved to Jacksonville in 1949. She was a faithful member of Riverside Park United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde M. Collins, MD, her sister, Dally M. Snider and her granddaughter, Lauren E. Davis. She is survived by her children, Mary Stuart Fortson (Richard), Miriam E. Collins, Martha C. Davis, Clyde M. Collins, Jr., Leo W. Collins (Karen), Edward M. Collins, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206 on Monday May 18th at 11 am., with Chaplain Brent Beaird officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
