FREEMAN: Funeral services for Mary Dimples Freeman, 84, who passed away on April 16, 2021 will be held Monday at 11:00 AM from the graveside in Restlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32206. Mrs. Freeman was born in Alma, Georgia and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. She was an avid gardener and was a member of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years, the late Charles N. Freeman; daughter, Dannette Elizabeth Rucker and son, Robert Jewell Freeman. Survivors include her 2 daughters, Deanna Henderson (Billy), and Charleen Johnston, Salinas CA; 2 sons, Douglas H. Freeman (Charlotte) and John Dwayne Freeman; 3 sisters, Phyllis Moyes, Sonja Hocheiser and Patricia Tate; 3 brothers, David Rigdon, Ray Rigdon and Talmadge Rigdon; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
