Mary C. Fitzgerald

Mary C. Fitzgerald, 77, was born in Mechanicsburg, PA, November 29, 1940. She was a devoted wife to Robert (Bob) Fitzgerald and mother to Robert E. "Rob" Fitzgerald, was involved in bowling, Lions International, and high school athletic activities. She was the founding treasurer of Lake Placid High School Athletic Association and served in that capacity for eight years. She also served for twenty-five years in the association's concession stand at the football games. She was active in Lake Placid First Baptist Church youth activities. Survivors include husband of 56 years, Robert (Bob) Fitzgerald, Fort White/High Springs, one son Robert E. "Rob" (Paige) Fitzgerald, Gardendale, Alabama, a granddaughter, Elise, Grandson, Logan. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 27th at First Baptist Church, High Springs with Dr. James Harrison officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's name can be made to the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center, 6037 W US Highway 90, Lake City, FL 32055.
