Mary Lee Johnson

Mrs. Mary Lee Johnson, 78 of Green Cove Springs, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Mrs. Johnson was born June 11, 1939 in Catawba County, NC to the late Ravon Joseph and Connie B. (Abernethy) Hager. She resided in Green Cove Springs for the past 2 years and was the former President of the Lady's Auxillary in Newton Conover, NC and a member of the VFW Post #8255 in Middleburg. Mary enjoyed gardening and spoiling her grandchildren and loved her dogs. Her husband, Calvin Eugene Johnson, preceded her in death. Survivors are her children, Steve Eugene Johnson (Laurie) of Tallahassee, Donna Lynn Johnson Farmer of Middleburg, and Shirley "Shirl" Marie Tedford of Jacksonville. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and her beloved K-9 Max. There will be no services held at this time.
