Mary Lee Smith

Mary L. Smith age 57, of Highland went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 6th 2015 at her residence. Mary was born on January 27, 1958 in Jacksonville to the late William Franklin and Betty (Alford) Moore. She worked as a Medical Assistant with Baptist Hospital and was a member of the Church of Christ in Lawtey. Mary loved spending time with her family, enjoyed participating in sports when she was young, and was an avid thrill seeker. She is survived by her husband Ben Smith of Highland, children, Anthony Moore, Jennifer Mote, Cody Mote (LeAnn) and Ashley Mote. She is also survived by sisters: Brenda McKinney, Lynn Gregory, and 9 grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends at the JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, on Thursday, December 10th & Friday, December 11th from 5-7 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday December 12, 2015 at the Dewitt C. Jones Chapel of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at 2:30 PM in Restlawn Memorial Park, Ribault Scenic Dr. in Jacksonville with Minister Curtis L. White officiating all services.
