Mrs. Mary Tyre Lutz age 94 of Keystone Heights passed away at her home, Friday, November 29, 2013. She was born in Perrine on March 25, 1919 to the late Philip and Annie (Green) Tyre and has been a resident of Keystone Heights since 1999 moving from Miami. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Lutz had given 40 years as a Switchboard Operator for Western Union during the war. She was a member of the Keystone United Methodist Church; she enjoyed gardening, painting, and art work. Her husband Fred had preceded her in death. Survivors are, her sister Ann Graham of Keystone Heights along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. A Graveside service will be on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Miami Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Bill Baggett officiating.
