Mary Lucille Olson

Mrs. Mary Lucille Olson age 81, of Keystone Heights passed away in Gainesville Saturday, May 26, 2018. She was born June 5, 1936 in Hixton, Wisconsin to Arthur P. and Myrtle (Hegge) Steig. Mrs. Olson has been a resident of Keystone Heights since 1972 and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Am-vets Post #86 in Keystone Heights and enjoyed cooking, being at the lake but most of all she loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Leland "Ole" in 1986 and four brothers Rodney, Frederick, Kenneth and Harold. Her survivors are her daughter Susan Sullivan (Doug) of Keystone Heights; a sister Dorothy Larson of Hixton, WI and two brothers William Steig (Karen) of Eau Claire, WI and David Steig (Betty) of Pigeon Falls, WI. She was also "Granny" to two grandchildren Douglas Sullivan and Natalie Sullivan both of Theressa along with four great grandchildren Jake Markham, Kendyl Brannen, Audrey and Hannah Sullivan. Funeral services for Mrs. Olson will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Larry Strickland officiating.
