Mary Harriet (Dot) Bishop Porch, passed away on Monday November 16, 2009 about 3:00 AM in North Florida Regional Hospital at Gainesville after a brief illness. She was 88 years old. She is survived by her sister Nina Andrews, a daughter Mary Harriet Powell Bumgarner, a Son William C. (Billbo) Powell, four Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren. She was a Native of Starke, Florida. She once said, I have lived life to the fullest and traveled far and wide. I have had a very good life. Some of her travels included Hawaii, California, Europe and the Caribbean. She loved her University of Florida Gators. Especially the Football Team. She also loved to watch Golf on Television and was an avid Golfer in her day. She studied Football and Golf and could call all the players by name.There will be a Graveside Memorial Service on Friday November 20th at 11:00AM at Kingsley Lake Baptist Church on Mary Dot Lane.
