Mrs. Mary Anne Brannan Shuford age 84 of Starke passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009. Mrs. Shuford was born on September 30, 1925 in Moorehaven, FL to the late Edward Leno and Jessie Stokes Brannan and moved to Starke in 1991 from Marianna. She was a retired Office Manager for Dr. B. Stevens Dentistry in Tallahassee, and previously worked as a Bank Teller.Mary Anne was a member of First United Methodist Church, Altrusa of Starke, the Starke Womens Club, and the Red Hat Society. She was also a past member of the Investment Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Philip C. Shuford, Sr. Survivors are Phils children: Lori Shuford Bond of Moorehaven, FL; Philip Craig Shuford, Jr. of Buena Vista, GA; sister: Jessie Brannan Witt of Moorehaven, FL; brother: Richard Brannan; brother-in-law: Ward Brinson; grandchildren: Lainey and Shelby Bond; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 620 E. Nona St., Starke, FL 32091 on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 AM in Kingsley Lake Cemetery with Reverend Mike Moore officiating.
