Mary Ellen Kimble Walls, 93, of Keystone Heights passed away October 28, 2024, at the Bailey Center in St. Augustine, FloridaMary was born near Dothan, Alabama. Her family relocated from southern Alabama to central Florida in her youth. She lived in the area until she married Jessie, Sr. and shortly after moved to Edgewater, Florida where they raised three children. Upon retiring, she and her husband moved to a peaceful country setting in Keystone Heights. She enjoyed sitting on her porch, doing word puzzles, gardening, and taking a daily walk down to the lake.She survived her husband by twenty years and spent her last two years at Vintage Care in Palatka where she made many new friends. She still enjoyed returning home several days a month and taking her walks to the lake. Her eldest daughter, Claudia, passed away several years prior due to cancer. She leaves her son, Jesse, daughter Barbara, three grandsons, and three great grandchildren. She now returns home to join her husband and many family members. May she rest in peace.
