Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Linville Charles Watson, 97, widow of John W. Watson, will be held at 2:30P.M. Friday in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South with Dr. Carol L. DiGiusto officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Born August 6, 1919 in Jacksonville, Florida to Marie and Frank Charles, Mrs. Watson died Monday, November 14, 2016 in Jacksonville. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, Class of 1937, and was a member of the Jackson Jills. Mrs. Watson was a member of Lakeshore Presbyterian Church and was a retired secretary from the Duval County Public School System. Survivors include two daughters, Carol LeFils Watson Mudd of St. Johns, FL and Patricia Ann Watson (Joseph) Lester of Chatham, NJ; two sons, John Wesley (Linda) Watson, Jr. of Tallahassee, FL and Robert Charles (Wendy) Watson of Cypress, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
