Mary Nell Wolz

Mary Nell Wolz, 91, of Gainesville, Fl, passed away on August 2, 2021 at Et York Care Center.Funeral service will be held at Chapel of The Meadows on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central. COVID- 19 restrictions will be required, mask must be worn in the chapel. Mary was born in Sylvester, Ga.to the Late Earl and Warene Rogers on May 14, 1930.She worked and retired from the University of Florida in Finance and Accounting. She was a life time member of Mimosa Circle Gainesville Garden Club and she was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville. She loved spending time with her family and was an avid Gator Fan. Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Wolz, and her sisters; Bettye McMillan and Ernestine Chasteen. Mary is survived by her children; Lucy Terrell, Allan (Robin) Lowe, Sharon Gay, and Ron (Betty) Wolz, her sister; Gail McMillan (Glen). Nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
