Mathew Freeman Herrin

Mr. Mathew Freeman Herrin age 81, of Anniston, Alabama formerly of Yulee passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020 at home. Mr. Herrin was born on March 26, 1939 in Worcester, MA to the late Frank and Barbara (Mathews) Herrin. Prior to retirement he worked as a technician for a paper bag manufacturer. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Sherry Lou (Redding) Herrin. Survivors are: his children, Cynthia Andrews (James) of Anniston, AL, Jeffrey Herrin of Yulee, siblings, Jane Stellato (Tony) of Lake Wales, Patricia Musgrove of Springfield, MA and Dawn Herrin of Warren, MA. Also left are his grandchildren, Ashley Shelton (Thomas) and Emily Jones, great grandchildren, Mattie Shelton and Timothy Shelton. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Long Branch Cemetery with Pastor Ron Kimbrell officiating.
