Matthew Nicholas McKean age 23 of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018, from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born December 7, 1994, in Jacksonville and had attended Keystone Heights High School. Matthew was a skilled tile layer and had been self-employed since 2017 and truly loved his job. He was also known for having a heart of gold and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who was in need. Being outdoors is where you would find Matthew riding motorcycles, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Matthews grandmothers Maria Koulogianis and Arlene McCool had both preceded him in death. His survivors are his father Michael (Traci) McKean; mother Margaret (Frankie) Espinal; two sisters Melissa (Marcus King) McKean and Michelle (Evan) Shafer, and a brother Michael (Kimberly Guerrieri) McKean. Also left behind are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his best friend Frankie.Graveside services for Matthew will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 30, 2018, at Keystone Heights Cemetery.
