Mrs. Mattie Lou Box PerryMrs. Mattie Lou Box Perry age 77, of Hampton passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010 at E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville. Mrs. Perry was born on June 16, 1933 in Baker County to the late William and Mattie Bryan Box and was a longtime resident of Starke. Mrs. Perry was a retired Cottage Parent for Sunnyland Training Center in Gainesville (now Tacachale), was a lifetime member of DVA, and a member of the Starke Church of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by her husband Grady Lewis Perry and brothers: Eldon Box; Hansford Box; Christopher Box; Lloyd Box; Lewis Box. Survivors are: sister: Blanche Dunn of Gainesville; brother: Clyde Box of Yankee Town; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 5-7 PM. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL AT 11:00 AM with Bishop Barber officiating.
