Maudie Mae Dobbs, 93, of Fort White, Florida, passed away on May 6, 2022. Maudie was born in Coles County, Illinois on August 3, 1925 to Loarn and Mona Gilbert. Maudie was married to Glenn Dobbs for 67 years. She worked as a deli server for Winn Dixie Grocery Store. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking. She was also actively involved in cooking for church functions. She is survived by her sons, Bruce (Brenda) Dobbs and Daniel (Sharon) Dobbs, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Robert Dobbs. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Mt Horeb Missionary Baptist Church, 3449 NE CR 340, High Springs, Florida. Visitation will be held before the service from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt Horeb Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
