Max Blankenship, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud Army veteran, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, May 10th 2025. He was 75 years old.Max was the beloved husband of Diana Blankenship, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage marked by love, strength, and unwavering commitment. Together, they built a life filled with quiet joys, strong values, and deep family bonds. He was the cherished father of Diane (Alan) of St Johns, FL and Ivy of Jacksonville,FL. Max was a deeply loved "Pa" to his six grandchildren: Skyler (Victoria), Zoe, Parker, Conner, Bailey, and Malina. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he took great pride in being a steady, loving presence in theirs.Max served his country honorably in the United States Army. A quiet and humble man, he rarely spoke of his service, but his dedication and sense of duty never went unnoticed by those who knew him.Max will be remembered for his gentle nature, quiet strength, and the deep love he had for his family. Though he was not one to speak much, his actions spoke volumesalways kind, always dependable, always present. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he held so dear.
